A New Phase for The Tempeh Industry in Indonesia
Tempe dikenal sebagai makanan khas indonesia yang memiliki kandungan gizi yang tinggi. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses produksi tempe, Rumah Tempe indonesia (RTI) diresmikan pada 6 juni 2012. RTI diprakarsai oleh KOPTI Kabupaten Bogor dan Mercy Corps Indonesia (MCI) melalui Program Scalling Susutainable Consumption and production in the Soybean Processing Industry in Indonesia (SCoPE) serta didukung oleh PT. ANTAM Persero dan FKS Multiagro.
Tempeh is Known as a popular Indonesian popular food with a high nutrional value. in order to improve the quality of tempeh production processes, Rumah Tempeh Indonesia (RTI) was launched on June 6, 2012. RTI was initiated by KOPTI Bogor District and Mercy Corps Indonesia (MCI) Trough the Scaling Sustainable Consumptionand Production in the Soybean Processing Industry in Indonesia (SCoPE) program, supported by indonesian Tempe Forum (FTI) and several private companies, namely PT. ANTAM limited and FKS MULTIAGRO.
Tujuan didirikannya Rumah Tempe Indonesia:
- Menjadi pusat pembelajaran serta model pabrik tempe yang higienis dan ramah lingkungan serta menjadi model rujukan bagi para pengrajin tempe.
- Mengangkat derajat profesi pengrajin tempe di Indonesia dan menciptakan kebanggaan terhadap profesi pengrajin.
- Mengenalkan tempe unggulan kepada konsumen dan mendorong pencitraan yang lebih baik terhadap produk tempe.
- Sarana pembelajaran dan penelitian bagi mahasiswa/pelajar tentang produksi tempe higienis dan ramah lingkungan.
The Objectives for Establishing the RTI factory include:
- to become a center of learning and a model of a hygienic and environmentally friendly tempeh factory that can be a referrance for tempeh producers.
- to increase the position of tempeh producers in Indonesia and to build a sense pride in the profession.
- to introduce high quality tempeh to consumers and promote a better image of tempeh.
- to become a learning and research facility for student on hygienic and environmentally friendly tempeh production.
